I would think that too open lor ~~

as, we normally are noise makers...........

Also, if I spend $650 each at a restaurant, say, we have 4 heads normally, that's $2300 spending, I won't expect (and won't enjoy) to stay @ a bar seat to talk with friends.

Frankly, I think that restaurant should have more tables gei, only the manager was too mean to offer to customers jei.

For restaurants of such level of service, I won't spend $650 per head. Therefore, I thank the author for letting me know about this.

佢係自己算擇咗去，冇人迫佢喎，佢唔可以怪人，話人哋服務差。佢只係想繼續飲佢果支一世都飲唔完嘅酒，坐bar檯有咩問題？

老老實實, 大家會唔會日日一個人食$650一餐先?

如果我一個人食$650一餐, 我一定唔會expect要坐bar枱飲酒囉, 仲要限時限刻咁食, 食都唔舒服啦.

服務差又係真既, 咁人哋唔肯走又肯繼續食/飲野, 咪求其俾張枱佢lor. 我唔信一間咁既服務水準既restaurant will have a full house. That should be the way out gei, whether the manager was willing or not jei.

That's why I said it is a lose-lose situation lor. As a 3rd person, I won't go to that restaurant while at the same time I would think that girl 'long lai' ~~

老老實實，咁我book 檯時人哋話要8.30交檯，我就唔會話『冇問題』，我會話『如果係咁就免喇』，唔會個口話冇問題個心就算住點可以延遲交檯。

你明唔明，佢衰自記『冇口齒，講過唔算數』。

都係果句，人哋事先講到明係要限時限刻，冇人呃佢冇人迫佢，佢一早知人哋係咁，佢大可以唔去，揾間冇時限嘅！自己一早知算擇錯誤就自己負責。你都講"expect"啦，咁佢自己book位時就已經"expect"咗要8.30走人！

你嘅講法係如果人哋事先冇講明，去到先俾人趕，咁先會成立！

如果她所說屬實,簡單分析其心理是:-
不明白顧客與提供服務者是有一個mutual agreement的。
她沒有把承諾看緊，即口輕輕，冇尊重人與自己。
她ego 很大，可能內心自卑。

唔係覺得佢好慘嘛,由頭到尾位唐小姐都知自己要8:30交檯.
佢自己無誠信在先.
一個人食$650又如何呢.而家講緊唔係錢既問題,而係成件事呢位唐小姐自己唔岩呀!
換轉佢係訂左8:30檯既客人,去到發現自己訂既檯有人坐係度賴死唔走,我諗果位唐小姐即時開口大罵添!

no. you logically wrong. The restaurant offered the seat and clearly stated that the customer has to return the seat at 8:30p.m. This is a condition to the offer while the customer accept. The restaurant is not a loser but the customer had eaten up her own word.

If I were the customer, I would choose not to book this restaurant but not accepting a conditional offer! She has choice but she choose not to exercise her right. Then WHO IS WRONG?

Well, frankly, do you all think that a restaurant offer a specific time slot to customers is right ?? I learn from this case that this 一門 restarurant is so 'ma fan' to customers. Of course, this lady is not right for she knew about this and still went to this restaurant. However, as a restaurant, do you really think that if a customer insisted to stay longer, they don't have the obligation to try to facilitate but not just to push her ?? Seems everybody had accepted this wired offer specified by the restaurant.

I am not going to defence for the lady as obviously she deserved that trouble but I am also NOT going to support that resturant for the unreasonable requirements set by them.

Don't get us wrong. We are not agreeing with the restaurant to set a time limit for their customers. Being a customer, we can choose not to go to this restaurant if we consider the offer is not reasonable. However, if you choose to accept their conditional offer, then you should follow the rules of the game.

This is not uncommon for some popular restaurants to set time limit for their customers. Personally I don't like it. However, if I really wanna try and accept the offer, I will watch the clock!
